Communicating Trust

At age 120 years old, Moses announces his retirement as well as his successor for leading the Israelites. He understood transition in leadership can leave a group of followers feeling anxious. Even though he wouldn't accompany them into The Promise Land as their leader, he knew God would.

Moses communicated trust. For all to hear, he recalled what God had done and declared what God would do through the new guy and for them as the People of Promise, because he knew they would need courage for the challenges in their near future.

If you are feeling unsteady, a little lost or alone, encourage yourself in the Word which is full of His promises.

"Don’t be afraid, for the Lord will go before you and will be with you; He will not fail nor forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:8).

Again, this Word of Promise is for you, too! Take a moment to thank Him for being with you to navigate all of your life challenges.
